Yes, yes.... I will ONCE again be dropping the pounds... Or trying too anyways. This time - I have until the end of June, then I get a nice reward - or two - for my accomplishments! A new laptop, and maybe a new piercing!

THEN - I will be a sorta- kinda - hotwife! (Hot...but not married..lol)

Here comes Santa!

Yeay! Christmas is just about here! I'm very excited because I get to pig out on food. lol.

Actually, it's just having ham I am excited about. I love ham. As does my daughter... So we can eat and chill all day tomorrow. Life is good. : )

I didn't do anything for HNT so I am throwing an old one at you all. Sorry - but I have not been in the mood for HNT pictures at all. It's a pain in the ass to take pictures sometimes. And we all know I can be incredibly lazy as well!

I am so excited that I will be home for four days! I'm not a big fan of Christmas, I hate celebrating (or pretending to celebrate) something I do not believe in, but I always use the *Holidays* as an excuse to take time off. I have 70 hours of PTO that I just got because we get the time quarterly - so I am already thinking about when my next time off can be! lol.

Maybe my birthday? Maybe... Valentines? lol.

Everyone have a great day tomorrow! Hope "Santa" is good to you and you get all you want. For me - I already bought myself a snazzy new phone - So I got everything I wanted! Next on my list would be a laptop - but I can't afford that right now! Maybe.... after taxes in Jan I can get one though!

Something like that anyways. I actually almost forgot to post for Monday! I usually write my post early on in the week then post it on Monday morning before I leave for work. But tomorrow - I am stayin home! I felt like taking three days off this week instead of two...lol

I usually don't have much luck with the *scheduled posting* thingy in Blogger - so if you are reading this - and it's Monday morning - then it actually worked for me! This means that as you read this... I am snug and cozy in my bed...snoring away!

New blog link - Lelo.

So, for reasons I really don't get - people like my blog. According to my stats I am getting a good amount of hits a day. Actually, one week I had over 4 thousand visitors to my blog.

That's not a ton in the big, grand scheme of things - but it kinda amazed me. I feel as though I don't have all that much to say. But I guess when I do - I never shut up. lol

I am not trying to brag - I am just acknowledging this thought out loud here on my blog. I do love to write, but I hate writing without a reason or a purpose. This is pretty much how I run my life as well. If I make something I want to know just what the end result will be.

If I go somewhere there has to be a reason and a goal. I often try to be one of those people that go out just to go out...but it sometimes annoys me as I need a goal.

This is probably the reason why I do not like surprises - I do not automatically know what the end result will be.

If I meet (or potentially meet) new people I have to feel like there is something that we have in common or I just end up "not bothering." Sometimes this is a good thing - and sometimes it is not.

This time I hope *not knowing* works out for me.

I have decided, after doing a little research, Googling and what not - to *try* and add an affiliate here at my site - without knowing what the outcome will be. I was contacted a few weeks ago by a really nice lady rep asking if I wanted to become an affiliate with them.
I was a bit cautious because I really do not like to advertise without product testing first. But there is something about them I like.

The simple fact that their toys - sometimes referred to as *pleasure objects* look amazing. They are actually high quality toys that do not resemble those cheap hard plastic vibrators that we see all too often. Their name is Lelo and they are a company that started back in 2003 by three friends.

Again - I have NOT tried these toys myself. They are a bit on the pricey end - for me. But I really want to take one for a test run. I have however asked about product testing, and while the affiliate program itself is still in it's brand new stages - but they do run contests for the affiliates so I might just be able to try my hand at winning one!

Blog Disclosure policy

According to the new FTC guidelines that are buzzing through cyberspace all of us bloggers that place an ad on our posts, pages, and what not need to put up a “Blog disclosure policy.”

These guidelines were set on October 5th 2009 and are to begin to take effect on December 1st 2009.

You can read all about the guidelines here. It’s a PDF file, just sooo’s ya know.

This includes doing reviews, selling products, placing paid links and any other advertising as well. This also includes Twitter and Facebook accounts too! So – with that being said -

1. Whenever you read my blog and I have placed a product link on it you can feel good knowing that if you click on that link – I will be making a few pennies because you clicked on the link!

2. If you see a tweet from me and it contains a link to any sales on products – I will again be making money off of it. (a penny or two)

3. Whenever I place product links on my site for you to click on – you can rest easy knowing I really like the product and or company/sponser I am advertising for.

In SOME cases I will add a link because advertisers have come to me asking that I link up to them - in which case I will be upfront in telling you that I have not tried the product but like them enough to place an ad.

So, although this site does indeed contain paid ads (I get paid if you click on them) – I won’t link to just anybody. I am very picky when it comes to products. It has to be a company I use and or buy from or otherwise like enough to want to give them a try.

4. Also, if I ever receive free goods to try, services, money for posting a review from the companies/sponsers that I advertise for or a new company I advertise for in the future you – (my awesome readers) will know full well all about it upfront in my post.

I will always be honest and never deceptive with any of my advertisers or to my readers. It’s not the way I roll.

With that being said – The FTC can impose an $11,000 fine on you if you do not put a disclosure on your blog! So…. what are you all waiting for?

Go add a disclosure! It doesn't hurt - and will save your ass in the future!

New Guidelines...No more Googinator...

So - if you all take a lookie at my sidebars you will notice my Google ads are gone.
I got them taken down by Google as they do not allow ads to be placed on adult content sites.

All my other sites are allowed (I have 4 others) - it was just this site that is not. This is ok with me, I love Google, so if those are the rules then I guess I gotta follow them. They have great tools for webmasters/bloggers and I use them all the time, and they have no problem with my other sites so all is well.

This actually opens up more opportunities for me. Because I have other people/sites asking me to place ads on my site. Which I will be adding in the next few days.

Speaking of which - Just so you all know (and I'm sure you all heard it) The FTC has indeed placed new guidelines on us bloggers to follow. It was final in October and becomes a new guideline as of December 1st 2009. It's not a law - but a guideline. And it's really to try and stamp out advertising fraud. There are so many fradulent sites out there that promote, promote, promote without lifting a finger to even try the product, etc...

Can't say that the new guidelines are bad. I kinda like em.

What does it mean to all us bloggers?

Well in the most simplest terms it means........

1. Whenever you place an ad on your blog, be it a paid link (one you get paid for if someone clicks on it) you need to let the reader know by telling them.

2. Do a review of any kind. For toys, computers, companies, movies, fellow bloggers (if he pays you for it) you need to disclose that you are indeed getting paid for doing the review and or blog review.

3. Ads placed on your site also require a disclosure as well. Basically, if you receive any goods, services, money WITHOUT disclosing your connection to the provider you are going to be a target under the new FTC guidelines.

And yeah - it counts even if you do an occasional review.

So - write a disclosure people because if you don't - you could be subject to being fined $11,000.00.

This also extends to Twitter and Facebook as well.

The easiest way I think is just to make a static page that stays permanently and placed where the reader can easily view it. In all my Wordpress blogs I have it as a page that shows up in the front of my blog. Since I am using Blogger for this site - I placed it in my category list.

Make it clear and concise as best as you can. And you can ad to it when you think of other things. The new guidelines are still very new and also very broad as to exactly who, what, and when...

But, it's not hurting me to place some type of disclosure on my blog - ya know?

HNT - The garland edition...

I'm actually on time this week! Un-fucking believable huh? I am even posting this on time as well. Boooyeah... I rock this week..

This edition of HNT is what I like to call the "garland edition." Sorry, not too origional - it's yet another boobie shot.. but my hunny is never here in the right days and it's hard to shoot the pictures myself!

I do not have go - go gadget arms and they are just too short to reach across the room! My camera phone sucks when using a timer too. only gives me like 10 seconds to friggin move!

Hopefully when I get my new phone it will work better. I don't really like to use my digital all that much cause I gotta hurry up and get em off the camera!

First Monday... in December!

Happy Monday peeps! Can you believe - Christmas is almost here! I am very excited - not for Christmas, but for tax time!

That's when I get to pay off some bills and get myself some prezzies! I am eying a new phone. Sadly though, the one I want I can only find unlocked for AT & T.. so that means I gotta stay with their way too expensive service. I am thinking about buying it and have my son flash the phones to work with another provider though. We will see.

Finally...a post unrelated to Monday OR HNT!

We got some snow here last night. Looked really pretty this morning when I got up. although, this morning at around 7am I was woken up by one of the maintenance dudes shoveling the sidewalk.

My bedroom faces the street and I am on the first floor so he was right outside my window! Thank Goddess for shades, or he could have looked right in. That would have been odd for sure!

I finally went to the adult site to check my email today. There were three waiting. One from a bald, overweight, 53 year old... One from a guy who said he was married BUT his wife is ok with it, ( no picture though) and one from a guy that says he was single that had all his gf's/wife's info on his profile as well.

That one was a bit confusing... So I replied to two. The fat, bald one I deleted.

We are getting deeper into the winter and my SAD is at full force. It's really getting hard to even get off the couch to eat these days. All I wanna do is sleep. And my sex life is next to nothing it seems. Either we are not alone, or when we are it's too short on time, Or I am just not in the mood.

When we do actually do the deed it's great and my brain thinks, "why the hell do I wait so long..."

But then, life, work, stress, and all that set in and before we know it - it's been three weeks or so again.
Thank Goddess our "lack of sex" does not indicate a "lack of love" with us. It gets better in the spring & summer...

So... I was looking at the Hanes catalogs that I get every now and again and I noticed....

This guy is fucking hot!
Why can I not find anyone like this at those adult sites? I know guys like this exist in real life! I have seen them. And even spoken to some at work and what not... And my bf is a hottie like this as well.
So WHY can I not find anymore of them? I think hot looking men are a dying breed. With all the "love yourself for who you are" things out there - it's affecting men! They all seem to let themselves go... lol

This guy isn't a ten... he's a 9 at best.. But he looks thin and trim. Has a nice smile, seems happy (his eye reflection) and generally comfortable with himself.

He's not above average by any means.. Just regular. That's the kind of guy I like. I just can't seem to find any at those sites. lol.

Maybe the two at the site will be decent. Who knows. Will be interesting to see.
